European Outdoor Show to Take Place in Parma from March 28–30, 2026
The fifth edition of the EOS – European Outdoor Show is set to take place at the Fiere di Parma exhibition center from March 28 to 30, 2026. After four successful editions in Verona, the show will now move to the heart of Italy’s renowned "Food Valley" — a strategic decision made collectively by the main industry associations. This move marks the beginning of a new phase of structured growth and international expansion for the event.

The announcement was officially made at the Confindustria headquarters in Rome, with key industry leaders in attendance, including Giovanni Ghini (outgoing President of ANPAM – the National Association of Manufacturers of Sporting and Civilian Firearms and Ammunition), Pierangelo Pedersoli (President of ConArmI – Italian Firearms Manufacturers Federation), Maurizio Zipponi (President of CNCN – National Hunting and Nature Committee), and Antonio Cellie, CEO of Fiere di Parma.
EOS is widely recognized as Italy’s premier trade fair for hunting, sport shooting, outdoor activities, hunting tourism, technical apparel, fishing, and small craft boating. It stands out on the European stage as a unique gathering point for enthusiasts, professionals, and businesses from across the continent. The last edition in Verona welcomed over 40,000 visitors.

“Bringing EOS to Parma,” commented Antonio Cellie, CEO of Fiere di Parma, “means combining a fast-growing event with a modern, innovation-driven exhibition ecosystem focused on quality. The trust from key trade associations and brand owners confirms the path we’ve taken and enables us to set clear objectives: expand the sectors and audience, strengthen international positioning, and enhance the experiential value of the event. The Parma region and our exhibition infrastructure offer ideal space for developing new thematic areas to support this new phase of growth.”
The hunting, shooting, and outdoor sectors in Italy generate approximately €8 billion in total economic impact, employ over 88,000 people, and are highly export-oriented (exports account for 87% of turnover). On a European scale, the market for sports and outdoor activities exceeds $176 billion, and continues to grow. Clay pigeon shooting and target shooting are among Italy’s most decorated Olympic sports, and Italian firearms and ammunition manufacturers are considered global leaders.

Against this backdrop, EOS is evolving into a strategic opportunity across the entire value chain. New areas focused on fishing, hunting dogs, and food & wine will be added to respond to growing demand and industry diversification.
“The hunting world,” explained CNCN President Maurizio Zipponi, “has evolved in recent years, increasingly interacting with other sectors such as agriculture, academia, and environmentalism. From this perspective, Parma is strategically significant: it is a hub of food and agriculture, and a gateway to other important sectors. Hunting is also the foundation of the game meat supply chain we’re building. The Fiere di Parma initiative reflects a network of broad themes and associations around hunting, reinforcing its role in sustainability and biodiversity conservation.”
The Parma edition will also feature a new date — nearly 45 days later than the previous edition — offering a more favorable window for industry operators, particularly in the hunting tourism sector.

“We are excited about this opportunity to work with a solid and structured partner like Fiere di Parma,” said Giovanni Ghini, outgoing President of ANPAM. “EOS is the central platform for all stakeholders in the firearms, hunting, and sport shooting sectors. This move to Parma represents a new stimulus for growth and greater national engagement.”
Parma is a region where sport shooting is more than a hobby — it’s a tradition and a key part of local identity. It boasts renowned facilities like the National Shooting Range and Poligono di Tiro di Polesine Parmense, frequented by top-level athletes.
“We are certainly pleased with the agreement with Fiere di Parma,” noted Pierangelo Pedersoli, President of ConArmI, “especially as it involves all the key associations in our sector. We’re optimistic about the new venue, the impeccable logistics, and its central location — all of which will help us reach more enthusiasts. Proximity to shooting ranges, both geographically and culturally, is another major plus. Personally, I have strong emotional ties to Parma — it’s where I studied — and I’m happy to return.”
The 2026 edition of EOS is expected to mark a qualitative leap in both content and format. New experiential zones are planned within the exhibition center, covering the show’s three main macro-areas: hunting, sport shooting, and outdoor recreation. The fair will also expand into new segments, including gun dogs, fishing, and culinary experiences linked to wild game.
In terms of format, EOS will continue to evolve by integrating a hybrid B2B and B2C model, designed to broaden international appeal without sacrificing the show’s immersive nature — a hallmark of its success with professionals, enthusiasts, and the general public.
The 2026 EOS – European Outdoor Show will be organized by Fiere di Parma in partnership with Pintails Srl, and aims to offer a next-generation trade show experience where passion for the outdoors meets a platform for content, commerce, and community.
